Minimal Night Music - Prelude © Ender / Hauser / Holzer
The »Minimal Night Music« constitutes a sort of quiet space amidst the Festival's theme of growth. In contrast to all the surrounding excess, the little night music offers 10 moments of reduction: the shortest concert of the Festival (23.11.), the smallest venue (15.11.), the most sensitive duo (28.11.), the tiniest gestures (20.11.),a single note (10.11.), Franz Schubert (11.11.), Noise (17.11.) and even Minimal Music (08.+09.11.). »pass.age« is a performative piece of music that David Ender and Jack Hauser put on in the Mozart Hall during the »Österreich heute« festival in 1991. The live recording from that performance now returns to the Wiener Konzerthaus by way of two record players. Sabine Holzer's supplementary dream score is part of her (non-)stage performance practice dating back to 2009, »Miss Coochie träumt«.
