Musicians practice complex movements for years, grow into new positions, merge with their instruments. As part of a process of increasing self-optimization, work becomes inextricably intertwined with life. Bodies transformed by virtuoso technology inhabit the concert space both as exotic, and as remarkably familiar planets. The place where it all happens is a multi-functional framework which – in contrast to the universality of the standardized body model of Vitruv or Le Corbusier – turns the individual proportions of the young violinists into the stage model. The trans-disciplinary Kollektiv Mycelium takes the gradual musical transformation of a violinist and two percussionists as the starting point for an unusual evening of concert, tableau, exhibition, laboratory, glam rock and choreography.
